THE BEGINNING
Founded in September of 2015 a group of 16 people came together to form the
St Marys Pirates Club.

Please check out the story of our begining.
We started out with a platform built on a trailer and a borrowed dinghy, until we could build one of our own.

The club decided on a logo and had the club flag raised one evening at the
St Marys Little Theater to the song Hoist the Colors.

Things suddenly started to happen. Bones one of our club members
found an old boat hull, and it was donated to us by
Mr Cook from the boatyard. She wasn’t much to look at but
we have made her our own.
She went from this …….

To this……….
To this…
To what she is today…The Cumberland Storm Now updated with new colors.

We also acquired another float along the way named the Caribbean Breeze.
She now has a new look by way of rebuild from two of our members Brian Talbot and Ed Mckuck.
Our Stowaway member Patty Martin was instrumental in the start of getting the supplies by speaking to the manager.
Allan and Crystal Haney followed up and gave a list to the manager for approval. Take a look at her now!
You can see her at our regular meeting place Pirates Point Bar and Grill,
great food and fun ! !

We are hosting blood drives, we are participating in the Adopt a Highway
We also have a Pirates Pantry where we pillage non perishables and purchase turkeys and hams
to feed families at Christmas and Thanksgiving.
We want people to hear our name and their first thought to be.. That is a GREAT group that loves to have fun and help in
our community. Our Motto is simple, Have Fun and Help Others.
